Mother’s Union provides a network through which they can serve Christ in their own community.
This is done through prayer, financial support and actively working at grass-root level in
programmes meet local needs

MISSION STATEMENT 

Mothers on Lady Day

In celebration of the Feast of The Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, Mothers Union holds a day of
prayer, intercession and Thanksgiving around the 25th of March every year. It is an opportunity for them
to reflect on the Character of the Virgin Mary and the objectives of Mother’s union. Members renew
their sworn vows when they took up membership by candle lighting and reciting the mother’s Union
Prayer.
